We are currently looking for a talented and experienced professional to take on the role of Inventory Operations Manager (APAC) for a renowned client in the Chemical space. This position will focus on developing and executing strategies to enhance inventory management practices, streamline operations, and ensure optimal control of inventory across multiple locations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory transactions in ERP systems, including transfers and adjustments, while driving efforts to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. You will work alongside various internal and external teams to implement best practices, including collaborating with 3PL providers, coordinating stock takes, and managing the shelf-life extension process in partnership with quality teams.
This role also involves continuous process improvements, such as automating workflows with tollers and warehouse providers, and leading inventory-related reporting and analysis. Additionally, you will play an active role in cross-functional forums, providing insights into inventory data and helping to meet organisational targets.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of inventory management experience, preferably with regional exposure, and a strong ability to analyse and present data. Experience with ERP tools is required, along with a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations.
