We are partnering with a renowned leader in the chemical industry to seek an experienced Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management Leader, responsible for driving procurement and optimizing supplier performance within the Contract Manufacturing category. This Mumbai-based role requires 5–10 years of experience in direct procurement, ideally in tolling or contract manufacturing. Preference will be given to candidates already based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.
In this role, you will manage the entire supplier lifecycle, from sourcing and contract negotiations to performance oversight and risk mitigation. Collaborating closely with Product Supply, Finance, and R&D, you will develop sourcing strategies that enhance cost efficiency while ensuring seamless operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring supplier financial health, securing rebates, and ensuring contractual compliance.
We are looking for a strong negotiator with a strategic mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive supplier performance. A bachelor’s degree is required, and an MBA is preferred.
